
Jim Horning is a former firefighter/paramedic and seismographic ship’s medic & fitness officer with over 20 years of experience in health, fitness, and corporate wellness. From working in life- or-death situations to leading high-impact wellness programs, Jim brings a rare combination of frontline medical experience, leadership, and fitness expertise. As a former Hillsborough County Master Trainer for a renowned fitness chain, he developed and led training programs that empowered hundreds of individuals to take control of their health.
Jim also founded Tampa Bay’s first outdoor women-only boot camp, creating a powerful space for women to build strength, confidence, and community. His passion for transformation later expanded into the corporate space, where he has served as a wellness coach, business development strategist, and fractional sales leader - helping companies boost performance, reduce burnout, and foster real accountability through wellness-focused leadership.
Now serving as Director of Corporate Wellness at Alessi Functional Health, Jim is on a mission to change lives in the corporate world through practical, results-driven health strategies. His programs are rooted in support, motivation, and empowered accountability for purpose of helping professionals at every level create and maintain sustainable, high-performing lifestyles.
